The stranger who sojourns with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself” (Leviticus 19:34).

In Guatemala, a gang threatens to kill a mother’s children and sell their organs. She flees with her children under the cover of darkness.

In Ecuador, a mother and her children risk crossing a 60-mile stretch of rainforest straddling the Colombia-Panama border to seek a better life up north.

These are just a few of the migrants who have made it into the United States and are served by our priests and Brothers in Arizona. They’ve escaped horrors and struggles we can’t imagine. They need our help.

“Let us not forget what the Bible tells us: ‘You shall not wrong a stranger or oppress him.’ The orphan, the widow and the stranger are the quintessential poor whom God always defends and asks to be defended.”

- Pope Francis, General Audience, August 28, 2024

Who We Serve

Our missionaries primarily work with people who cross into the United States, wait for border patrol to pick them up and declare that they are seeking asylum. Although some call these people illegal, they ARE NOT. Both international law and our national laws consider this to be a legal way to enter another country.

We run camps on the U.S. side of the border where migrants can rest and heal after their dangerous trek through the desert. We listen to their stories and assure them that we are their neighbors, not their enemies.

Many of these migrants are Catholic. Our missionaries offer them spiritual counsel and the sacraments to strengthen their souls after their long, weary journey.

What You Can Do

The face of the migrant is the face of Christ. Let's extend Christ's love and care to our brothers and sisters.

We completely depend on your generosity to supply migrants with food, water, medicine, and other basic necessities. Will you generously give to support these people who arrive in our country?

Here’s how your donation can help:

  • $25 helps provide a healthy meal and bottled water for those who have traveled through miles of desert.
  • $50 goes toward stocking the pantry at our camps with nutritious food.
  • $75 helps provide medicine for a sick or injured migrant who is suffering.
  • $100 goes toward providing lodging and transportation for Spanish-speaking priests ministering to the migrants.

Thank you for your generosity!
